Scotty Auble
The Dilemma of the Dangerous Meat loaf

The second goal is to teach students how to analyze and critically evaluate the nutritional value and health impacts of food, which meets the California Health Framework Addendum Draft Standards". The task involves students in searching for and evaluating a meat loaf recipe to decide whether it is healthy or not by locating 3 pieces of information to assess the healthfulness of the items in the recipe. Students work in groups using problem solving strategies and critical thinking to search the web for information that is compiled and presented in Word, web pages or video.
