| 'As One' Combinations Start by making 2 instances of the same line of text (same font, position, etc) so that if you put one on top of the other they would look as one. Then by making them go off at the same time, it will give the illusion that the text has sort of cloned itself. - with this simple idea there are hundreds of combinations that can be spawned. Here are just a few: 1. 'Scale Letters' one of the instances of text into the presentation 2. At the frame where the text is completely 'scaled in' make the second instance appear directly on top of it (i.e. so you cannot tell this has happened) 3. Make this second instance then expand to about 500% and fade to zero at the same time (transform) 4. Then at the point where the second instance has completely faded out, 'Remove - Scale Letters' the first instance. You could even 'reverse' this.
1. 'Slide in' both instances of the text. One from the left, one from the right. 2. Make them meet in the centre 'as one' 4. Wait for a few seconds 3. Use 'Transform' to make one of the instances increase by 500% and the other increase (decrease) by -200% 4. Make both instances fade to alpha zero in the process. 1. 'Scale Letters' both instances at the same time, 'as one', start at 300% for both. 2. Make one of the instances scale forwards, the other backwards. 3. Then do exactly the same in reverse, but select 'remove characters' in the options, again - one forwards the other backwards. 4. This time put the scale as -300% for both. As mentioned these are only a few examples of combining text 'as one', there are thousands of things that can be based on this idea. I hope this will give you some inspiration. Let me know of any stunning ones you come up with.... In these examples, I have only used 2 instances of the same text, before I have used up to 5! With each of them doing various effects at/around the same time. However, this makes it difficult to line them all up on top of each other without having any 'poking out at the sides' as it were, different colors for each instance can help. |
