Abstract:  This article discusses the use of assistive technology devices for students with disabilities, and points out that the classroom teacher can make a difference in the learning process when s/he integrates technology into the curriculum. 

 

 

2.                  Wissick, C. A. (1996). Multimedia: Enhancing instruction for students with learning disabilities. Journal of Learning Disabilities, 29(5), 494-503.

 

Abstract:  This article reviews the terminology and types of formats of current multimedia technologies.  The author points out that for many years teachers have been using multimedia (videos, filmstrips, etc.) to enhance their lessons.  Multimedia can increase a teacher’s productivity and effectiveness in the classroom.
