Abstract: This article reviews the terminology and types of formats of current multimedia technologies. The author points out that for many years teachers have been using multimedia (videos, filmstrips, etc.) to enhance their lessons. Multimedia can increase a teacher’s productivity and effectiveness in the classroom.
