Storyboarding

The Layout

Video
bullet

The first picture of each scene-it is used to outline the shots you want to use for your video.  Use a simple piece of paper.  First fold the paper in half.  Then in half again.  Each square is a separate scene.  For each shot describe the audio and video and what type of shot you will be using.  Your first shot is your establishing shot.  It will tell your audience almost everything they will need to know about your video.  It shows where you are and what you are doing.  Once you've completed your storyboard show it to others to get input into improving it.  Share it with the larger group.  Research will be the key to making sure your storyboard is correct if your video is a documentary etc....
