Video Lessons
Digital Productions
Why did
this project start? As with all projects we researched the possibilities.
We started this project as an information source for students, parents,
teachers, and community. We use the presentations for Open House
and student presentations. In the past we have created video portfolios,
book talks for the library, interviews with students in character, to
record field trips and extension activities and to introduce and orient
students to new activities. We used video because kid's love
video. Was this just fun? Did it have a purpose?
Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi, Ph.D., psychologist and author of the book, Flow: The
Psychology of Optimal Experience, describes what schools and parents can do to
promote optimal learning experiences. 4/11/2002
